Evie and Kaleb had an intimate elopement on the sandy beaches of Pacific City and it was so nostalgic. The crashing waves and warm sunshine created the perfect atmosphere for these two to celebrate their love. I was so excited when they asked me to photograph their Oregon Coast elopement. I approached their special day with a documentary style and the photos reflected all of the precious moments that were shared between the two! Photography is so much more than just pretty photos to me. My goal is to document all the love, laughs, and in-between moments that you and your parter will cherish for the rest of your lives. I had so much fun getting to see Evie and Kaleb’s authentic personalities shine on this beautiful summer day, and I can’t wait to capture more intimate elopements like this one in the future!

Intimate Oregon Coast Elopement vs Large Wedding

Intimate elopements are perfect for couples who do not want to go the large wedding route. One of the main reasons being- elopements are intimate, therefore you get to spend more time with your partner. Your wedding day is all about you two, so what better way to celebrate than spending the whole day together? This really allows you to soak it all in, without the craziness of a traditional wedding occupying your mind the whole time. There’s also less stress and less planning involved. If you value experiences over stuff, elopements allow you to invest in adventurous memories rather than invites, decor, party favs, etc.

Intimate elopements are authentic and intentional, which is my favorite part! Being able to plan an entire day around what you and your partner enjoy, rather than worrying about hosting and pleasing others makes the whole experience ten times better. Trying to satisfy everyone else’s needs on your wedding day should be the last thing on your mind. Plus, you get to experience the adventure of a lifetime, one that you can tell your kids about one day!
